Circumstances of man's death found in water main being found, a criminal case initiated
A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on 74 year-old man’s death.
On April 28, 2017 at 18:27 a call was received informing that there was a man’s body in the water main passing through Metsarents Street, Yerevan.
The investigatory-operative group immediately left for the site. Inspection of the site, as well as external inspection of the body was conducted, oval, reddish branching areas were found at wrist joints of the right and left forearms of the body and metal wires fixed on the right and left sections of the waist were found.
The dead man was identified; he was a resident of Yerevan, born on 03.06.1942.
Considering that in the prepared materials there are apparent elements of crime envisaged by the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code, a criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department.
Necessary investigatory actions are conducted to find circumstances of the man’s death, examinations were commissioned to find circumstances significant for the criminal case.
