Criminal case initiated on hindrance to legal professional activity of journalist
A criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on hindrance to the legal professional activity of a journalist.
On September 28, 2017 the director of «Lori TV» LLC, journalist Narine Avetisyan submitted a report informing that on the same day at about 22:00 at the beginning of the bridge combining Tumanyan and Lori Streets of Vanadzor violence was used against her, her legal professional activity was hindered, particularly she was not allowed to take a photo of the asphalting work.
Considering that in the materials there are crime elements envisaged by the Part 1 of the Article 164 of RA Criminal Code a criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department on hindrance of the legal professional activity of a journalist.
Preliminary investigation is conducted.
