A criminal case was initiated in Abovyan Investigative Division of Kotayk Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on violence against a representative of authorities, hindrance to administration of justice and conducting investigation.

Pursuant to initial data, on August 2, 2019 with the intend to conceal the car of “Range Rover” make with traces of crime from investigation, as well as to hinder the investigator to conduct inspection of the scene the man, born in 1976, not obeying RA Police officers’ legal demands not to get into the car and not to move it, got into the mentioned car and driving it towards the police officer escaped from the scene thus threatening to use violence not dangerous for life and health.

A criminal case was initiated according to the Part 1 of the Article 316 and the Part 2 of the Article 332 of RA Criminal Code.

In the result of a number of urgent measures the car of “Range Rover” make and the man, born in 1976, were found.

The latter was arrested on suspicion of using violence against a representative of authorities and hindrance to administration of justice and conducting investigation.

Preliminary investigation is under way.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
