RA IC Chairman Aghvan Hovsepyan received Head of OSCE Office in Yerevan, Ambassador Argo Avakov
The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Aghvan Hovsepyan received the Head of OSCE Office in Yerevan, Ambassador Argo Avakov.
The RA IC Chairman highly assessed the support provided by the OSCE Office in Yerevan to implementation of judicial reforms and, especially, to enhancement of efficiency of pretrial proceeding.
A. Hovsepyan stated that in the result of mechanisms of efficient cooperation with OSCE formed during the years considerable work has been done in human rights protection during preliminary investigation, investigators’ training and, in general, development of capacities of the Investigative Committee.
The RA IC Chairman A. Hovsepyan and the Head of OSCE Office in Yerevan, Ambassador Argo Avakov toured in the administrative building of the Investigative Committee , got acquainted with new technical capabilities, the work of the printery for printing educational, methodical manuals necessary for investigators’ trainings which had been provided to the Investigative Committee by the OSCE Office in Yerevan.
A. Hovsepyan expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for efficient cooperation and awarded the Head of OSCE Office in Yerevan Argo Avakov as well as legal counsel of the office Maria Sylvanyan with “Medal for Cooperation”.
