Preliminary Investigation of Criminal Proceeding Initiated on Murder of Former Head of Parakar Community Completed with respect of 2 Individuals

Preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated on murder of the former head of Parakar community, police officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, committed on September 24, 2025 was completed.

As it was already informed, in the course of the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding initiated on murder committed in Merdzavan public criminal prosecution was initiated against two individuals: against G.H. according to the Part 1 of the Article 155 (2 counts), the Part 1 of the Article 44-155 and the Part 1 of the Article 335 of RA Criminal Code, and against N.O. according to the Part 1 of the Article 46-44-155 of RA Criminal Code.

Detention was applied as a pretrial measure against them.

The criminal proceeding with respect of G.H. and N.O. with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor.

Preliminary investigation of the criminal proceeding is ongoing.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
