Medals and Badges of the RA Investigative Committee

Badge «Honorary Investigator»

The badge is the highest departmental award of the RA Investigative Committee.

The employees of the RA Investigative Committee who have at least 20 years of professional experience as a prosecutor, a judge or an investigator and have been awarded state and (or) departmental awards for service success are awarded with this badge for excellent implementation of their service duties, skillful organization of work and long-term high rates of service activity.

The employees of investigative bodies of foreign countries who have at least 20 years of professional experience as a prosecutor, a judge or an investigator can also be awarded with this badge for support in implementation of tasks of the RA Investigative Committee and long-term cooperation.

 

Medal «For Loyalty»

 

 


The medal is the departmental award of the RA Investigative Committee. 

The employees of the RA Investigative Committee who have at least 15 years of professional experience as a prosecutor, a judge or an investigator and have been awarded state and (or) departmental awards, including Medals of «Devotion and Courage» or «For Merit» for service success are awarded with this medal for high rates of service activity, being loyal to investigatory traditions established in the RA Investigative Committee and significant contribution to the activity of the RA Investigative Committee.

The employees of the RA Investigative Committee who have at least 15 years of experience of state and (or) civil service and have been awarded state and (or) departmental awards, including Medal «For Merit» for service success can also be awarded with the medal for high rates of service activity and significant contribution to the activity of the RA Investigative Committee.

 

Medal of «Devotion and Courage»


The medal is a departmental award of the RA Investigative Committee.

The medal is awarded to the employees of the RA Investigative Committee who have displayed bravery, devotion and courage in dangerous situations, emergencies requiring bold decisions.   

The medal for bravery, devotion and courage displayed during the performance of service duties can be awarded  posthumously, as well.

 

Medal «For Merit»


The medal is a departmental award of the RA Investigative Committee..

The employees of the RA Investigative Committee who have at least 10 years of professional experience as a prosecutor, a judge or an investigator and have been awarded state and (or) departmental awards for service success are awarded with the medal for excellent performance of their service duties and significant contribution to the activity of the RA Investigative Committee.

The employees of the RA Investigative Committee who have at least 10 years of experience of state and (or) civil service and have been awarded state and (or) departmental awards for service success can also be awarded with the medal for excellent performance of their service duties and significant contribution to the activity of the RA Investigative Committee.

 

 

Medal «For Impeccable Service»


The medal is a departmental award of the RA Investigative Committee.

The medal has four degrees;

1)    First degree medal for service of 15 years,
2)    Second degree medal for service of 10 years,
3)    Third degree medal for service of 6 years,
4)    Fourth degree medal for service of 3 years.

The highest degree of the medal is the first degree. The medals are awarded sequentially – the fourth, third, second and first degrees. In case of not having the previous degree of the medal, awarding the next degree is prohibited.

The employees of the RA Investigative Committee who have appropriate professional experience of a prosecutor, a judge or an investigator are awarded with the medal for long-term and impeccable service. The civil servants of the RA Investigative Committee can also be awarded with the medal.  

 

Medal «For Cooperation»


The medal is a departmental award of the RA Investigative Committee.

The medal is awarded to

1)    the employees of other RA state bodies, employees of law enforcement bodies of foreign countries for the support in the activity of the RA Investigative Committee in disclosure and investigation of crimes, as well as for long-term cooperation in the implementation of tasks of the RA Investigative Committee,
2)    RA citizens, public and political figures of the Republic of Armenia and other countries, as well as representatives of international organizations for significant contribution to the development and the activity of the RA Investigative Committee,
3)    the veterans of the RA Investigative Committee for long-term and productive cooperation, as well as providing the young investigators of the RA Investigative Committee with professional aid.

 

Badge «The Best Investigator»


The badge is a departmental award of the RA Investigative Committee.

The employees of the RA Investigative Committee who have at least 3 years of professional experience as a prosecutor, a judge or an investigator are awarded with the badge for high rates in disclosure and investigation of grave or particularly grave crimes, as well as for introduction of modern technical-forensic tools and methods of investigation.

 

Badge «Honorary Employee» 

The badge is a departmental award of the RA Investigative Committee.

The badge is awarded to the persons who support the activity of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

“10th Anniversary of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia”

The Jubilee Medal is a departmental award, awarded on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the Committee. The Medal is awarded to the persons holding an autonomous, discretionary position at the Committee, civil servants, people performing technical maintenance, others working under an employment contract, among them dismissed from service or work;

People supporting the activity of the Committee – heads, employees of state bodies of the Republic of Armenia, foreign states, heads of diplomatic missions, international organizations and their employees, legal entities and natural persons (among them representatives of legal entities), veterans of the Committee, judges, prosecutors, advocates, journalists, lawyer-scientists, experts.

The awarding of the medal can also be made posthumously.
