A criminal case was initiated in Sisian Investigative Division of Syuniq Regional Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on the case of kidnapping a young girl.
 

On 16 December, 2014 at 18:35 the resident of Sisian S. Ispiryan submitted a written report informing that on the same day from 12:00 to 13:00 the resident of the village of Harzhis of the region of Syuniq kidnapped his daughter with the purpose of marriage.
 

By the materials prepared on the base of the report it was found that the resident of the village of Harzhis of the region of Syuniq, Hayrapet reaching prior agreement with the co-villager, the relative of the girl Hovhannes and his relative Artur on 16 December, 2014 at about 12:00 near the military unit located in Charents Str., Sisian by using violence kidnapped the resident of Sisian with the purpose of marrying her and against her will got her into the car «VAZ2106» and drove her to Goris. The girl refused the marriage proposal, so the next day at about 03:00 he took her back home.
 

A criminal case was initiated in Sisian Investigative Division of Syuniq Regional Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on kidnapping pursuant to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 131 of RA Criminal Code.
 

 Preliminary investigation is under way.
