A criminal case initiated on selling unfit pork

A criminal case was initiated in Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on selling unfit pork in large amount according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 212 of RA Criminal Code.

By the prepared materials it was found that on 20 August, 2014 the citizen Petrosyan got a large amount of pork from the pig farm operating near the psychiatric hospital of Nubarashen.

Misleading the consumers about the consumer properties and quality of the mentioned pork he sold to a butcher 235.3 kg of pork which was not fresh, slaughtered at the agony and unfit for food.

Necessary measures are being taken to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of the case.
