In the result of necessary investigatory and other procedural actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of General Military Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee squandering in particularly large amount from unit N of the RA Ministry of Defense was revealed, the mechanism was found out, charge was pressed against deputy commander and storekeeper of the same unit.

Through investigation actual data were obtained on the allegation that swindling was committed from the division of medical equipment and appliances of the unit N. In the result of investigatory actions of great volume the way of the swindling was found, those directly involved in it were identified, their actions were clarified.

Pursuant to initial data, swindling was committed from the unit N of Ministry of Defense from 2015 to 2017. Particularly, by forgery of official documents medical goods for more than 45 million AMD were swindled.

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against deputy commander according to the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 38-179, the Part 1 of the Article 314 and the Part 3 of the Article 375 of RA Criminal Code, charge was pressed against the storekeeper according to the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 179, the Part 1 of the Article 314 and the Part 3 of the Article 38-375 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against them.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, measures are taken to provide the objective, complete and comprehensive investigation of circumstances of the case, to find other possible abuses, possible relation of other people to their commitment.
