The criminal case initiated on murder of 6 persons in Gyumri on 12 January is being investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of RA Investigative Committee. An investigative group was formed in which the investigators of General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases and Shirak Regional Investigative Department were involved.

In the result of the inspection of the scene a rifle, shells shot from the rifle, cartridge with bullets, a military uniform with a symbol of a serviceman of Russian Federation, as well as military shoes were found.
 

It was found that they belonged to a person whose surname was Permyakov. He was a conscript of RF military base located in Gyumri. Necessary investigative and operative measures are taken to find him.

 A number of people were questioned, including the fellow servicemen of Permyakov, the victims' relatives and neighbors. 
 

According to preliminary information the murder of 6 members of the Avetisyans took place on 12 January, 2015 at about 06:00. The Avetisyans died in the result of the gunshot.
 

6 months-old baby of the Avetisyans Seryozha Avetisyan survived. The baby was taken to a medical center with injuries he had received with a cutting-piercing tool.
 

Complex forensic examinations have been appointed.

Urgent investigative activities have been and are being implemented, operative-searching measures have been taken to find the circumstances of the case, as well as the suspect.
