In the framework of the criminal case on assault investigated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee, RA citizen D. Markosyan was charged with assaulting the woman who was his father’s factual wife.
 

Through the preliminary investigation it was particularly found that on 3 October, at about 06:00 with intend to assault he went to the flat rented by his father and his father’s factual wife and demanded golden jewels from the latter.
 

After being refused the person having committed the apparent crime attacked the woman, threw her to the ground and with violence dangerous for her life drew the golden chain from her neck, took 4 golden rings off her fingers, swindled them and escaped inflicting her financial damage of significant amount.
 

According to the conclusion of forensic examination in the result of the violence medium gravity damage was inflicted to woman’s health.
 

Based on the evidence obtained through investigation D. Markosyan was accused according to the Part 1 of the Article 175 of RA Criminal Code.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
