On October 27, 2015 at about 17:00 Police Station of Artashat received a call from medical center of Artashat informing that the residents of Artashat town, Baghdasaryan brothers with firearm injury were taken to the medical center.

The elder brother 38 year-old Baghdasaryan was diagnosed “firearm injury on the left leg”, 36 year-old Baghdasaryan was diagnosed “injury on the right leg and at the joint of the right knee”.

Baghdasaryan brothers were taken from the medical center of Artashat to “Malatia” medical center where they receive stationary treatment.

In Artashat Investigative Division of Ararat Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee investigation is conducted to find the circumstances of infliction of firearm injury to the brothers.

According to initial data they sustained the injury on the same day at about 16:30 on the way to the seventh turnpike of Shahumyan village of Ararat region with a hunting gun of “MR 153” model.

3 capsules of 12 mm caliber and 2 bullets of factory production of the same caliber, blood-like traces were found through the inspection of the site.

It was found that the hunting gun belonged to Baghdasaryan brothers’ brother-in-law who came to the investigative body and gave explanation on what had happened. Samples were taken.

Forensic medical, forensic traceological, forensic ballistic examinations were commissioned to find the circumstances significant for the case.
