Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on swindling committed by the director of Center for Educational Cultural Initiatives was completed in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

Through preliminary investigation actual data were obtained on the allegation that the director of the mentioned center, born in 1997, with the purpose of swindling in significant amount, under the pretext to help his employee to privatize the lot in the latter’s name, from October 15 to October 30, 2018 received 200.000 AMD from the employee part by part.

22 year-old director did not do any action for privatization and by abusing the employee’s confidence swindled money in significant amount given by the latter and used it for his personal needs.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against the director according to the Part 1 of the Article 178 of RA Criminal Code. Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to court.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
