Charged with using violence against a group of persons in the yard of ministry

In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee necessary investigatory actions are conducted to find all the circumstances of the argument which took place in the yard of the RA Ministry of Transport and Communication, the frame of those involved, the actions of each of them.
 

According to initial data, on May 16, 2016 at about 16:30 an argument took place in the yard of the RA Ministry of Transport and Communication during which violence was used against 5 persons inflicting bodily injuries of different gravity. Forensic medical examinations were commissioned to find the gravity of injuries. The result of forensic examination commissioned against one of the injured – H. Petrosyan was received according to which the injuries inflicted to him were heavy – threatening to life.
 

In the result of investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case initiated on the incident the motive of the argument was found, the persons having been involved in the argument were identified, their actions were personalized.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against 4 persons – Ara Karakhanyan, S. Vardanyan, V. Sargsyan and H. Shmoyan according to the Point 6 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. The investigator submitted a motion to the court to use detention as a pretrial measure against them. The motion was sufficed. On May 21 V. Mkrtchyan was arrested on suspicion of infliction of heavy bodily damage. A decision was made to arrest one more person – Arsen Karakhanyan the performance of which was tasked to the relevant subdivisions of the police.
 

Preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
