In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Kotayq Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee measures are taken to find all circumstances of infliction of heavy bodily damage to father and son Vardanyans, to find the person having committed the apparent crime.
 

On April 22, 2016 at 23:40 a call was received from “Miqayelyan” medical center informing that N. Vardanyan with diagnosis of “hemopnevmothorax of cut-pierced penetrating wound on the back part of the left half of the chest” and M. Vardanyan with diagnosis of “cut-pierced wound on the frontal part of the abdomen and apical region of the head” were taken to medical center.
 

A criminal case was initiated in Kotayq Regional Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code.
 

In the result of investigatory actions conducted through preliminary investigation it was found that father and son Vardanyans had been inflicted heavy bodily injuries in one of the restaurant complexes in Kotayq. According to preliminary investigation data on April 22, 2016 at about 20:00 in addition to other customers 10 more men visited the restaurant complex located in the village of Verin Ptghni of Kotayq region who had dinner together in one of the private rooms of the restaurant.  While having dinner the customers damaged and destroyed the property of the private room on which row erupted between the latters and the restaurant manager M. Vardanyan and his son N. Vardanyan. During the row one of the customers stabbed N. Vardanyan on the abdomen inflicting heavy bodily damage. M.  Vardanyan also sustained bodily damage during the row.
 

In the framework of the criminal case inspection of the site was conducted, the frame of people who had dinner together was found, necessary investigatory actions are conducted to personalize the actions of each of them. Forensic medical, forensic biological examinations were commissioned to find circumstances significant for the case.
 

Relevant subdivisions of the Police were tasked to take measures to find the person having committed the apparent crime and bring him to investigative body.
 

Preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
