In the result of investigatory and operative-searching actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee 34 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of stabbing the 59 year-old resident of Yerevan.

It was earlier informed that on May 31, 2017 in the yard of one of the houses of Artashisyan Street, Yerevan the person having committed the apparent crime stabbed the resident of Yerevan, born in 1958, with a sharp cutting-piercing item on the left part of the chest inflicting the latter’s health heavy damage dangerous for life.

In the result of urgent investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case initiated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee it was found that the person having committed the apparent crime was the former husband of the daughter of the injured, born in 1983.  

In the result of measures taken in the framework of the criminal case the person having committed the apparent crime was found and arrested.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, necessary investigatory and other procedural actions are conducted to provide the comprehensive, objective and complete investigation of circumstances of the case.
