Hooliganism with weapon in Balahovit; actions being personalized
Investigation is conducted in Abovyan Investigative Division of Kotayq Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find the circumstances of hooliganism committed at the milk factory of the village of Balahovit, to identify all those involved. A decision on arresting two persons was made.
On November 12, 2017 at 01:15 a call was received informing that shots were fired at the milk factory of the village of Balahovit, Kotayq region and an hour later a call was received from Abovyan medical center informing that a 17 year-old resident of Abovyan town with “injuries of knee joint, soft tissues of forehead and occiput, close injury of brain” was taken to them.
During preparation of materials it was found that the minor had sustained the bodily injury during the incident that took place at the milk factory of Balahovit. Through inspection of the site two capsules, sticks, metal rods and blood traces were found.
A criminal case was initiated in Kotayq Division of the Police according to the Part 4 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code which on November 12 was received in the proceeding of Abovyan Investigative Division of Kotayq Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.
In the result of measures taken in the framework of preliminary investigation it was found that argument between a group of young men started on the evening of November 11 at “Getap” restaurant where they took part in a wedding ceremony. A row erupted because of performance of one of the singers which went on at the milk factory of Balahovit and turned into hooliganism in which other persons were also involved.
Minor resident of Balahovit was found an injured party.
Through investigation two persons involved in hooliganism were identified, one of them, born in 1995, was arrested, a decision was made to arrest the other, born in 1998, implementation of which was tasked to the relevant employees of Kotayq Division of the Police.
Necessary investigatory actions are conducted to identify all those involved, to personalize their actions and to give appropriate legal assessment.
