In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on 38 year-old woman’s murder charge was pressed against husband.
 

On September 19, 2016 a call was received from ambulance station informing that a young woman’s body was found on Aknalich-Zartonq road.
 

The investigatory-operative group left for the site immediately and in the mentioned place a woman’s body with traces of violence was found and in car “Ford Transit” located 80 meters away from the body a man was found who declared that the victim was his wife and she had been killed by him.
 

According to preliminary investigation data the spouses were residents of Yerevan who went to Ararat region on the day of the incident. On the way back a row on marital infidelity erupted between them. During the argument the husband used violence against wife striking her on different parts of her body, then suffocated her pressing on her neck.
 

According to death certificate the woman died in the result of mechanical suffocation.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence on September 22, charge was pressed against husband according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code, the latter was interrogated.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Necessary investigatory actions are conducted to provide the comprehensive, objective and complete investigation of circumstances of the case, forensic medical and forensic biological examinations were commissioned.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
