A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on death of A. Galstyan born in 1996.
 

On March 31, 2016 at 23:00 a call was received from “Astghik” medical center informing that Artur Galstyan (born in 1996) with firearm bleeding injury on the left thigh was taken to medical center where he died at 23:55 without gaining consciousness.
 

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code.
 

Through inspection of the site a bullet of 9 mm caliber and a ball were found.
 

On April 1, 2016 search was conducted in the car “Infinity” driven by Artur Galstyan during the incident which had been registered in the name of another person. Through search two rifles were found in the black leather bag under the right seat of the car and confiscated. In the bullet-box of one of the rifles there were 4 bullets of 9 mm caliber and a bullet of 9 mm caliber in the bullet-hanger, in the bullet-box of the second rifle 2 bullets were found.  A cartridge of 9 mm caliber bullet was found in front of the driver’s seat, a trace of a shot was found on the left door of the car.
 

Forensic medical, forensic ballistic and forensic trace complex examinations, forensic biological and forensic computer technical examinations were commissioned.
 

The passengers who were in the car driven by A. Galstyan during the incident were identified and interrogated. The videos of cameras available at the area were also confiscated.
 

Necessary investigatory actions are conducted to provide the comprehensive, objective and complete investigation of circumstances of the case.
