In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of murder attempt against 19 year-old young man were found out. Charge was pressed against 23 year-old young man.

It was earlier informed that on November 6, 2018 at 00:20 a call was received from «Saint Gregory the Illuminator» medical center informing that a young man, born in 1999, with a diagnosis of «penetrating firearm injury on the abdomen» was taken to medical center. Pursuant to the report of the latter's grandfather the young man had sustained the injury in Tigranyan Street of Yerevan.

Through preliminary investigation it was found out that the young man had sustained the bodily injury on November 5, at about 23:40 in Tigranyan Street.

In the result of investigatory and operative-searching measures taken within the criminal case initiated in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code the motive, a number of circumstances of the case were found out, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified.; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1995.

On November 6, 2018 the latter turned himself to the investigative body. On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against him according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code.

The result of forensic chemical examination commissioned within the criminal case was received. According to it there were shot products on the latter's clothes. Searches were conducted as prescribed by law.

The investigator submitted a motion to court to use detention as a pretrial measure against 23 year-old young man. The motion was sufficed.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Necessary measures are taken to provide the comprehensive investigation of circumstances of the case, to verify the circumstances mentioned in the testimonies.
