A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on murder attempt against 43 year-old man. In the result of urgent investigatory measures taken in the framework of the criminal case the person having committed the apparent crime was identified and arrested.
 

On March 24, 2016 a call was received informing that Rafik Harutyunyan, born in 1972, with diagnoses of “cut wound on the left part of the neck, injury of external lever vein, external bleeding” was taken to Surgery Institute after Miqayelyan.
 

On the base of prepared materials a criminal case was initiated on the same day in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 of RA Criminal Code and necessary investigatory actions were conducted to find circumstances of infliction of bodily injury to the man. 
 

Through investigation it was found that on the day of the case in one of the garages located in Komitas Street the injured argued with his partner S. Hareyan during which the latter willfully struck R. Harutyunyan on the neck with a construction cutter he had in his hand inflicting bodily injury dangerous for life. The latter underwent operation and was not able to be questioned.
 

S. Hareyan was arrested and gave testimony.
 

During preliminary investigation of the criminal case the site was inspected, forensic medical, forensic biological examinations were commissioned.
 

Preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
