In the result of the actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of assault and Artur Nazaryan’s murder committed on December 24 were found, the person having committed the apparent crime was identified.

In the result of the action conducted in the framework of the criminal case evidence were obtained on the allegation that the assault in the office belonging to “Goodwin Bet” LLC operating in Yerevan had been committed by a 32 year-old resident of Yerevan.

According to initial data, on December 24 from 01:00 to 02:00 the latter struck numerous times with a sharp, cutting-piercing object used as a weapon at the parts of the abdomen, neck and chest of the employee of the office belonging to “Goodwin Bet” LLC operating in Yerevan, killed him, captured money and escaped.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence the investigator made a decision to involve the 32 year-old man as a defendant according to the Point 8 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 and the Point 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 of RA Criminal Code.

On the same day a motion was submitted to the Court of First Instance of Shengavit administrative district to use detention as a pretrial measure against him. The motion was sufficed and search was declared against him.

The investigator instructed the relevant police officers to take all the necessary operative measures to find the accused and bring him to the investigative body.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
