Preliminary investigation of the criminal case on the part of two defendants initiated on murder of several persons committed on Nubarashen roadway about 12 years ago was completed in Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee.
 

On July 25, 2013, at about 12:15 the persons, having committed the apparent crime, with intend of murder fired shots through rifles procured illegally in the direction of the persons in the car “31029” with 65 LO 285 registration number belonging to taxi service.
 

Three persons – the driver Sashik Hakobyan, Deputy Head of Medical Department of RA Ministry of Defense Garegin Harutyunyan and the resident of Davitashen Arkadi Gevorgyan were killed in the result of firearm injuries, the latter’s brother Artyom Gevorgyan was taken to “Erebuni” medical center with firearm injuries where his life was saved due to medical intervention.
 

Through preliminary investigation of the criminal case circumstances, motive of murder, as well as the person having ordered the murder were found, the persons having committed the apparent crime were identified.
 

According to investigation data the resident of Yerevan Artur Sargsyan, being informed about the tense relationship between his friend’s son Gevorg Manukyan and Gevorgyan brothers, organized the murder of the latters.
 

The residents of Armavir region Kamsar Hakobyan, Andranik Yeremyan and Araqel Sargsyan were ordered to commit the murder. According to preliminary investigation data, agreeing to carry out the murder Gevorgyan brothers from the beginning of May to June 25, 2003 K. Hakobyan, A. Yeremyan and A. Sargsyan lived in an apartment given to them with that person, they received the necessary items, including a mobile phone, unused prepaid “Easy” card with factory packed phone number of mobile phone, “Mercedes Benz” with “B-1 300 V” registration number, rifles, bullets, telescope, as well as the photos of Arkadi and Artyom Gevorgyan brothers.
 

According to investigation data, Artur Sargsyan informed K. Hakobyan and the other two persons of the fact that on June 25 Gevorgyan brothers were going to psychiatric hospital of Nubarashen and taking the rifles “AKMA” with number 1625, “AKMA” without number and “AKA 74U” with number 369450, as well as bullets awaited on Nubarashen roadway on June 25, 2003 . Then on the mentioned road they shot fires in the direction of the mentioned “GAZ 31029” in which Gevorgyan brothers were in the result of which the driver Sashik Hakobyan, the passengers Garegin Harutyunyan and Arkadi Gevorgyan  died of numerous firearm injuries they had sustained, the other passenger Artyom Gevorgyan was inflicted heavy damage dangerous for life.
 

After committing the crime leaving the rifles, telescope, covers and mobile phone at the scene, they escaped in “Mercedes Benz” with “B-1 300 V” registration number, then they left the car at “Erebuni” medical center and left in cars belonging to a taxi service.
 

On the base of the evidence obtained through preliminary investigation in 2003 decisions were made on involving the persons having participated in organization, preparation and committal of murder as a defendant. On 19.12.2003 the part on Artur Sargsyan and other persons were separated and sent to court with the bill of indictment. On 30.06.2004 the part on another defendant was separated from the criminal case and sent to court with the bill of indictment.
 

Search was declared against three persons charged with committing the murder and measures were taken to find them.
 

Two of the persons under persecution A. Yeremyan and K. Hakobyan were found in Russia and were extradited to Armenia on August 29, 2014 and on February 22, 2015, accordingly.
 

On the base of the evidence obtained during pretrial proceeding K. Hakobyan was charged according to the Points 1 and 8 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code, A. Yeremyan was charged according to the Points 1 and 8 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code.
 

Preliminary investigation on the two defendants was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation.
 

Araqel Sargsyan is still under search, appropriate operative-searching measures are taken to find him.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
