Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on murder of V. Grigoryan was completed in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee.
 

By the evidence obtained through preliminary investigation it was found that on May 7, 2014 at about 14:30 S. Grigoryan argued with V. Grigoryan on money matters on the road of the village of Nor Kyurin of Ararat region. The latter asked the man to lend her 10.000 USD and was refused.
 

During the row erupted between them the man shot at the woman’s back with a gun of “CZ 92” model kept by him illegally. When the latter tried to get out of the car, he fired the second shot at her chest. The woman died of bodily injuries she had sustained.
 

In the result of investigatory and procedural measures taken in the framework of the criminal case, other weapon and ammunition kept illegally were found at S. Grigoryan.
 

On the base of the evidence obtained during pretrial proceeding S. Grigoryan was charged according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. Imprisonment was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.
 

On March 27, 2015 the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation. The bill of indictment was confirmed and the case was sent to the Court of First Instance of Ararat and Vayots Dzor regions.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
