In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Abovyan Investigative Division of the RA Investigative Committee on stabbing the director of the club search was declared against 24 year-old resident of Abovyan town.
 

On October 30, 2016 at 02:25 a report was received from medical center informing that a man M. Grigoryan with diagnosis dangerous for life “stabbing on the left temporal region of the skull with a knife in it” was taken to medical center.
 

Urgent investigatory measures were immediately taken in Abovyan Investigative Division of the RA Investigative Committee to find the circumstances of stabbing, the motive, to identify the person having committed the apparent crime.
 

Through preliminary investigation it was found that M. Grigoryan had been inflicted bodily injury dangerous for life near “Ole” club operating in Abovyan town by one of the customers. The injured was the director of the mentioned club.
 

The motive was found, the person having committed the apparent crime was identified, as well; he is a 24 year-old resident of Abovyan town.
 

On the base of sufficient evidence obtained through investigation, on November 2 search was declared against 24 year-old man and a decision on involving him as a defendant according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 of RA Criminal Code was made by the investigator.
 

The relevant subdivisions of the police were tasked to take measures to find and bring him to the investigative body.
 

On November 8 the investigative body was informed by the medical center that the injured Mamikon Grigoryan died on November 8 at about 09:15 without regaining consciousness.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, additional information on investigation results will be provided.
