In the result of investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of murder attempt committed against 27 year-old Davit Qocharyan in Vanadzor were found, the person having committed the apparent crime was identified.
 

It was earlier informed that on December 16, 2016 at 00:15 a call was received from Vanadzor’s medical center informing that the resident of Vanadzor D. Qocharyan, born in 1989, was taken to medical center with a firearm injury on his neck.
 

A criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department according to the Parts 1 of the Article 34-104 and the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. Davit Qocharyan was found an injured party and interrogated.
 

In the result of investigatory actions conducted through preliminary investigation sufficient evidence were obtained on the allegation that the injured had sustained injury dangerous for life near the café “Fool House” in Vanadzor.
 

Through inspection of the site 2 capsules, bloodlike traces were found. The motive of the argument was found, the person having committed the apparent crime was identified. The latter is also a resident of Lori region, born in 1980.
 

On the base of the evidence on December 19 a decision was made to involve the 36 year-old man as a defendant according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code of RA Criminal Code, search was declared against him.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
