14 persons injured in the result of the accident that took place in Gegharquniq region

A criminal case was initiated in the Fifth garrison unit of General Military Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on the car accident that took place today in Gegharquniq region.

On August 17, 2015 at about 11:30 on Sevan-Getap road the car “PAZ-32053”, driven by the serviceman of unit N of RA Ministry of Defense, A. Petrosyan, went out of the traffic zone of the road and turned into the nearby ravine. As a result, 14 of 18 passengers sustained bodily damages. 13 of them were taken to a medical center with several bodily damages.

A criminal case was initiated according to the Part 1 of the Article 377 of RA Criminal Code (Breach of rules for driving or operating vehicles).

Expertise was commissioned. 14 persons were found an injured party. Investigation is conducted to find the causes of the accident.
