38 Year-Old Man Detained for Inflicting Heavy Bodily Damage to Friend
On April 19, 2020 at 23:40 a call was received from «Abovyan» CJSC informing that 35 year-old resident of Abovyan with “cut-pierced wound on the frontal part of the abdomen” was taken to them.
In the result of investigatory and other procedural actions conducted within the criminal case investigated in Abovyan Investigative Division of Kotayk Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee it was found out that on April 19, 2020 at about 23:00 during the argument between two friends on the road from Abovyan town to Jraber at the area called “Kanal” 38 year-old man stabbed 35 year-old friend on his abdomen causing heavy bodily damage.
On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 38 year-old man for allegedly committing an act envisaged by the Part 1 of the Article 112 (willful infliction of heavy bodily damage) of RA Criminal Code. The latter was detained.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
