In the result of necessary investigatory actions conducted in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of stabbing 53 year-old resident of Vanadzor town were found, search was declared.

On August 4,2017 at 08:10 a call was received from “Vanadzor Medical Center” CJSC informing that the resident of Vanadzor, born in 1964, A. Manukyan with a diagnosis of “cut-pierced, penetrating wound on the frontal surface of the abdomen” was taken to medical center.

A criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code.

In the result of investigatory and procedural actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case it was found that A. Manukyan had sustained the mentioned bodily injury on August 4, 2017 at about 01:00 in his flat during an argument with another resident of Vanadzor town, born in 1968.

A. Manukyan was found injured party. On the base of the obtained evidence the investigator made a decision to involve the 49 year-old man as a defendant according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code, detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him and search was declared.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, the relevant subdivisions of the Police were tasked to take measures to find the wanted and bring him to the investigative body.
