A criminal case initiated on hindrance to implementation of advocate's authorities and sent pursuant to investigative subordination

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Norq administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on hindrance to implementation of advocate's authorities.

On July 6, 2017 materials prepared in the RA Police Division of Nor Norq on the incident that took place on June 28 at about 12:00 in front of the Court of First Instance of Avan and Nor Norq administrative districts were received in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Norq administrative districts from the Prosecution Office. Pursuant to the received materials in front of the court building the person having committed the alleged crime used violence not dangerous for life against the policemen carrying out their duties in order to provide the public order protection, threw a bottle against them.

During preparation of materials in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Norq administrative districts advocate Lusine Sahakyan submitted an explanation and told that on June 28, 2017 the police officers hindered the implementation of her authorities, did not allow her to meet her client. Besides, Human Rights Defender's call on hindrance to implementation of advocates' authorities during the incident that took place on June 28 in the court yard was also received in the investigative division from the prosecution office

On July 8 a criminal case was received in the RA IC Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Norq administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 316 and the Part 1 of the Article 332.3 and was sent to the prosecution office to consider the investigative subordination.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
