A criminal case was initiated in Tavush Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on murder attempt committed against the resident of Dilijan G. Kokhlikyan. Search was declared against the person having committed the apparent crime.
 

On August 6, 2016 at 12:10 a call was received from a citizen informing that the brother of his sister’s husband fired towards his sister G. Kokhlikyan and the latter was taken to hospital.
 

The investigatory-operative group immediately left for the site.
 

According to preliminary investigation data, on August 6, 2016 at about 12:00 in the yard of one of the houses in the town of Dilijan, 44 year-old V. Yesayan fired towards his sister-in-law – 36 year-old G.Kokhlikyan with a firearm kept by him causing firearm injuries on the right part of the loins and escaped taking the firearm with him.
 

On August 6, 2016 a criminal case was initiated in Dilijan Investigative Division according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235. In the result of investigatory actions the motive of the argument was found.  
 

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence on August 7, 2016 a decision was made to involve the 44 year-old resident of Dilijan as a defendant and search was declared against him.
 

Forensic medical, forensic biological, forensic ballistic, forensic trace complex examinations were commissioned to find circumstances significant for the criminal case.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
