A criminal case was initiated in Syuniq Regional Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on robbing the citizen of People’s Republic of China.

On September 4, 2015 at about 13:00 the resident of Kapan, A. Mkrtchyan while taking the citizen of People’s Republic of China Jinq Minguangi Shoe from Kapan to Meghri in “Vaz 21-06” owned by him, stole the latter’s personal things – his parcels, rucksack with 1.000 USD, 230 Euro, 7.000 AMD, 1.000 Chinese Yuan inflicting him material damage in large amount and escaped.

A criminal case was initiated in Syuniq Regional Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee according to the Point 2 of the Part 2 of the Article 176 of RA Criminal Code.

A. Mkrtchyan was found and apprehended to Police Station of Kapan.

On September 7, 2015, based on the investigator’s motion, detention was used as a pretrial measure against A. Mkrtchyan.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.

Investigation is conducted to provide the comprehensive, objective and complete examination of circumstances of the case.

Currencies with total cost of 698 thousand AMD, as well as the personal things were found and returned to the citizen of People’s Republic of China.
