A criminal case was initiated in Tumanyan Investigative Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on shots fired near the health center of Dsegh.

On February 1, 2016 at 21:15 a call was received from health center of Dsegh informing that the resident of the village of Dsegh, Lori region A. Khachatryan, with firearm injuries on his left foot, received medical aid in the center who then was taken to “Vanadzor Medical Center” and then to university hospital N 1 after Heratsi in Yerevan.

On February 2, 2016 a criminal case was initiated in Tumanyan Investigative Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 (willful infliction of bodily injury) and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code (illegal procurement, keeping of weapon).

According to initial data, 42 year-old A. Khachatryan was inflicted firearm injury near SNCO “Health Center of Dsegh”. Inspection of the site was conducted and at 100 meters distance from SNCO blood-like traces were found, samples were taken.

A number of forensic examinations have been commissioned to find circumstances significant for the criminal case, confiscations and interrogations have been conducted.

By the investigator’s decision A. Khachatryan was found an injured.

Preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.

Necessary measures are taken to find all the circumstances of the case, to identify the person having committed the apparent crime.
