In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Aragatsotn Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee charge was pressed against 24 year-old resident of Gyumri for murder of Yerevan resident Karlen Grigoryan, born in 1997, committed near the village of Tlik.
 

It was earlier informed that on February 26, 2017 a call was received from the Head of Tlik community informing that there was a man’s body with bleeding injury on the neck in the field near the village of Tlik.
 

The body of Yerevan resident K. Grigoryan, born in 1997, with numerous cut-pierced injuries on different parts of the body was found at the administrative area of the village Tlik of Aragatsotn region - on the village road.

 A criminal case was initiated in Aragatsotn Regional Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code.
 

In the result of investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case actual data were obtained on the allegation that the victim sometimes carried out passenger transportation in the car of “Mercedes” make. The 24 year-old resident of Gyumri had an arrangement with K. Grigoryan in Leningradyan Street, Yerevan to take him to Gyumri for appropriate fee after which they set out for the mentioned town.

Driving off Yerevan-Gyumri road – near the village of Tlik of Aragatsotn region a row erupted between them during which, pursuant to preliminary investigation data, K. Grigoryan was stabbed on his chest and neck numerous times, injuries incompatible with life were inflicted. The 24 year-old man took the victim out of the car and left on the village road then he tried to escape in the car, however driving for 400 meters the car stuck in the snow, so he went on his way on foot. The young man was found near the village and arrested.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against 24 year-old man according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code. The investigator submitted a motion to court to choose detention as a pretrial measure against him.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
