Charge Pressed against Employee of Goris Municipality
Through comprehensive investigation conducted in Goris Investigative Division of Syunik Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee it was found out and grounded that the acting chief specialist of the Division of Public Relations, Education, Culture, Sport, Youth and Social Issues of Staff of Goris Municipality, taking advantage of the fact that she had supervisory authorities over preschool educational institutions under Goris Municipality, on 8 June, 2021 called and forced the headmaster of the preschool educational institution personally and together with other employees to participate in pre-election campaign to be held in Goris on 8 June, 2021 by “Armenia” alliance related to snap elections of the RA National Assembly to be held on 20 June, 2021. The headmaster and some employees of the mentioned educational institution were forced to participate in the meeting organized by the mentioned alliance for not being treated unfavorably.
On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against the employee of the staff of Goris Municipality according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 149.1 of RA Criminal Code. Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against her.
Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to court.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
