Information about Applications, Reports on Apparent Electoral Crimes and Consideration of their Results as of 21:00

As of 21:00 of the voting day of the snap elections of the National Assembly held on 20 June, 2021 66 materials on apparent hindrance to implementation of the right to elect were received and prepared, as well as 2 criminal cases were received in territorial subdivisions and the central office of the RA Investigative Committee.

48 of the mentioned 68 cases refer to voting more than once or instead of another person envisaged by the Article 153 of RA Criminal Code, 16 - to breaching the confidentiality of ballot envisaged by the Article 154 of RA Criminal Code, 1 - to entering the polling station with a weapon and using violence at the polling station and the area next to it envisaged by the Articles 154.4 and 149.2 of RA Criminal Code, 1 – to hindrance to the work of the observer envisaged by the Article 149 of RA Criminal Code, 1 – to using violence at the polling station and the area next to it envisaged by the Article 149.2 of RA Criminal Code, 1 – to preparing false ballots envisaged by the Article 154.1 of RA Criminal Code.

Three criminal cases, in total, were initiated on entering the polling station with a weapon and using violence at the polling station and the area next to it, preparing false ballots and breaching the confidentiality of ballot. Within the last of the mentioned cases there are two suspects and signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against them.
