In the result of investigatory and other procedural actions of great volume conducted in Abovyan Investigative Division of Kotayk Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee it was found out that in Abovyan community of Kotayk province an LLC committed unauthorized occupation of a land of 2240m² and implemented unauthorized construction there. And the head of Abovyan community who has duties to prevent unauthorized occupation of lands which are community property, unauthorized construction, as well as to abolish the consequences of unauthorized construction, subjected the company only to  administrative penalty of 400.000 AMD.

As a result, willful apparent official negligence by the community head caused continuous unauthorized occupation of lands; that is unauthorized construction.

Charge was pressed against the head of Abovyan community according to the Article 315² (not taking measures to prevent unauthorized occupation of lands which are community property, as well as unauthorized construction) of RA Criminal Code. Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
