Charged with Karine Mansuryan’s murder, murder attempt against Taguhi and Vachagan Mansuryans

In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee charge was pressed against 31-year-old Vladik Martirosyan for Karine Mansuryan’s murder, murder attempt against Taguhi and Vachagan Mansuryans.
 

It was earlier informed that on July 8, 2016 at about 04:00 during the argument that took place on the stairway of the house 7, Soghomon Taronts lane, Yerevan V. Martirosyan stabbed with an axe for numerous times on different parts of the body of Karine, Taguhi and Vachagan Mansuryans in the result of which Karine Mansuryan, born in 1952, died.
 

Through preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district sufficient evidence were obtained on the allegation that V. Martirosyan having tense relations with his ex-wife Taguhi Mansuryan and her parents Vachagan and Karine Mansuryans, on July 8, 2016 at about 04:00 argued with them during which he stabbed K. Mansuryan with an axe for numerous times on different parts of her body which caused her death.
   

During the same argument Taguhi and Vachagan Mansuryans were also stabbed with an axe, however the neighbor intervened in the argument; hearing the noise he went out to the stairs and holding V. Martirosyan’s hand prevented his actions.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against V. Martirosyan according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 and the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was used as a pretrial measure against him.
 

Preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.  
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
