Necessary investigatory actions are conducted in Kotayq Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to verify the circumstances mentioned in the report of the affected on being kidnapped and illegally deprived of freedom.
 

It was earlier informed that a written report was received from citizen N. Berberyan informing that on February 16 H. Siradaryan and his cousin A. Oskanyan kidnapped him, kept in the car against his will and demanded to return debt threatening to use violence dangerous for health.
 

Investigatory actions of great volume - interrogations, confrontations were conducted to verify the mentioned circumstances, the videos of the incident’s day captured by the camera located at bookmaker office mentioned by the affected were confiscated and inspected. As a result, the relations between the affected and the suspects were found, the source of debt was also found; according to data of criminal case the affected made bets though H. Siradaryan and A. Oskanyan’s money which was on his game account (about 1.650 AMD) and lost it.   
 

On the base of the evidence obtained through preliminary investigation a decision was made to press charge against H. Siradaryan and A. Oskanyan according to the Part 1 of the Article 131 of RA Criminal Code, by the investigator’s decision signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against them.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Investigation is conducted to find a number of circumstances significant for the criminal case.  
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
