In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Norq administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of 82 year-old man’s murder were found, the person having committed the apparent crime was identified.
 

On February 20, 2016 at 11:55 a call was received from “Saint Gregory the Illuminator” medical center informing that on the same day Pargev Karo-Yakobyan, born in 1934, with “craniocerebral trauma, comatose condition” was taken to the medical center and died on the same day at 23:30.
  

On February 22, 2016 a criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Norq administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee and necessary investigatory and other procedural actions were conducted to provide the circumstances of 82 year-old man’s murder.
 

Through preliminary investigation sufficient evidence were obtained on the allegation that the victim had organized a little reception hosting two persons.
 

According to the obtained evidence the guests used violence against 82 year-old man, stole money, property and left.
 

Through investigation the mentioned persons were identified, necessary investigatory measures were taken to personalize the actions of each of them.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence on February 24 charge was pressed against A. Zhamkochyan according to the Point 8 of the Part 2 of the Article 104, the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 of RA Criminal Code. On the same day the investigator submitted a motion to the court to use detention as a pretrial measure against him which was sufficed. Measures are taken to find the other person.
 

Forensic trace and forensic biological, forensic medical examinations were commissioned to find circumstances significant for the criminal case.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
