In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Norq administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee the woman under persecution since February 27 for 82 year-old man’s murder was found.
 

Through preliminary investigation it was grounded that on the day of murder – on February 20 82 year-old P. Yakobyan hosted two persons during which violence was used against him out of mercenary motives. The old man died of injuries, the guests stole money, property and left.
 

Through investigation the persons having committed the apparent crime were identified; they are mother and son Zhamkochyans.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence on February 24 charge was pressed against A. Zhamkochyan according to the Point 8 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code (murder out of mercenary motives) and the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 of RA Criminal Code (banditry by a group of persons with prior agreement). Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.
 

On February 27, 2016 the investigator made a decision to involve the young man’s mother as a defendant according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 of RA Criminal Code and on the same day search was declared against her.
 

In the result of investigatory, operative-intelligence measures the woman was found on February 29, 2016, charge was pressed against her and she was questioned.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
