On 12 August, 2021 calls were received from a group of citizens informing that they had transferred money to the account “Davinchi Travel” Travel Company to organize their holidays in Egypt, however the company did not make any reservations causing pecuniary damage of large amount.

Criminal cases were initiated in regard with the facts in Central Police Division according to the Point 2 of the Part 2 of the Article 178 of RA Criminal Code which were sent to the Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee for conduction of preliminary investigation and were received for production.

A decision was made to combine the mentioned criminal cases in one proceeding and conduct joint investigation.

Measures are taken to find out the real circumstances of the case, to provide the objective and comprehensive investigation.

The relevant subdivisions of the RA Police were assigned to take necessary measures to find those possibly affected of the actions of the travel company, as well as the director of the mentioned company.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
