Circumstances of stabbing three persons in Stepanavan found; the suspect arrested
A criminal case was initiated in Stepanavan Investigative Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on stabbing three persons.
On December 29, 2015 at 21:40 Police Station of Stepanavan received a call from “Stepanavan medical center” CJSC informing that three persons with cut-pierced wounds were taken to hospital, two of them were minors.
On December 29, 2015 a criminal case was initiated in Stepanavan Investigative Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. On the same day the three injured persons were found injured party.
In the result of investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case the circumstances of infliction of bodily damages were found. According to initial data, on December 29, 2015 at about 20:00 a row erupted in municipal park of Stepanavan. During the row the mentioned persons were inflicted bodily damages through a knife. The person having committed the apparent crime was found; he was a minor, as well and he was arrested on December 30, 2015 on suspicion of committing the mentioned crime.
During preliminary investigation a number of urgent investigatory actions were conducted – the site was inspected, the clothes of the injured and the suspect were confiscated, blood samples were taken.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
