In the result of measures taken in the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of sustaining firearm injury by 20 year-old young man were found.
 

On April 8, 2017 at 16:55 a call was received informing that a 20 year-old young man with a firearm injury on the left leg was taken to medical center. It was found that the young man had sustained the injury at one of the petrol stations operating in Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan.
 

On the same day a criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department according to the Point 6 of the Part 2 of the Article 113 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code.
 

In the result of urgent investigatory and operative-searching actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case the person having committed the apparent crime was identified; he is 28 years old, a resident of Yerevan. The suspect was arrested.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to find the motive, as well as to provide the objective, complete and comprehensive investigation of the case.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
