Criminal Case Initiated on Double Voting Attempt
A criminal case was initiated in Aragatsotn Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on double voting attempt.
On December 9, 2018 at 15:49 the resident of the village of Tsilqar took part in snap parliamentary elections in the precinct N 17/67 located in the same village and voted through his ID card.
Then at 16:17 the same resident went to the mentioned precinct and wanted to vote this time presenting his passport. However, it was recorded by the device that the latter had already voted.
A criminal case was initiated in Aragatsotn Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-153 of RA Criminal Code.
Investigation is conducted to find out all circumstances of the case, to provide the objective, complete and comprehensive investigation.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
