A criminal case was initiated in Aragatsotn Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code in the framework of which urgent investigative and other procedural actions are conducted to find out circumstances of infliction of heavy bodily damage to 28 year-old resident of Aragatsotn region.

The call on the accident was received on January 16, 2022 informing that 28 year-old resident of Avan village of Aragatsotn region with a penetrating wound on the neck was taken to “Ashtarak” medical center.  

In the result of urgent measures it was found out that on the same day a row erupted between the above-mentioned young man and his fellow-villager on driving the car fast in the mentioned village during which 29 year-old man, who was with the latter at the scene, stabbed 28 year-old man on the neck causing bodily injury and fled.

Investigative and other procedural actions are conducted, operative-searching measures are taken to find out all circumstances of the case, to find 29 year-old man.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
