Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on illegal procurement, keeping of weapon and ammunition was completed in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee; charge was pressed against Artur Avetisyan who is considered to be a criminal authority.

Through preliminary investigation actual data were obtained on the allegation that A. Avetisyan illegally procured, kept and transported a rifle of «Makarov» model of ИР 7172 factory number and firearm bullets which were found through personal search.

On the base of sufficient evidence obtained during the pretrial proceeding charge was pressed against 36 year-old Avetisyan according to the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code, detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

The criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to court.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
