In the result of investigative and other procedural actions conducted in Syunik Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of swindling committed by the director of “Meghri Regional Medical Center” CJSC by using official position were found out.

Pursuant to factual data obtained through investigation, in order to organize the nurses’ training in the town of Meghri, through a writ addressed to the Rector of State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi the director of the company asked to organize the 39 nurses’ training, to be held in 2018 within the framework of the state order, in the town of Meghri reasoning that the town was a border region. Then with the intent to steal somebody else’s property, concealing the mentioned circumstance from the nurses to be trained told them that each of them had to pay 35.000 AMD to organize the training in Meghri. She demanded and through the HR inspector received money in significant amount – 385.000 AMD in total from 11 nurses.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against the director of “Meghri Regional Medical Center” CJSC according to the Point 1.1 of the Part 2 of the Article 178 of RA Criminal Code. Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against her.

A decision was made by the investigative body to terminate the criminal prosecution against the HR inspector of the company based on the Point 2 of the Part 1 of the Article 35 of RA Criminal Procedure Code.

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to court.
