Criminal Case Sent to Court
Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on willful infliction of heavy bodily damage to the resident of Aygeshat village committed in 2015 was completed in Vagharshapat Investigative Division of Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.
Pursuant to investigation data, the resident of Aghavnatun village, being drunk, mocked the resident of Aygeshat village. A row erupted between them during which the resident of Aghavnatun village hit the latter with a cutting-piercing item for numerous times causing light as well as heavy bodily damages threatening to life then fled.
On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against the resident of Aghavnatun village according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. The court sufficed the motion on choosing detention as a pretrial measure against him submitted by the investigative body but at the same time the court considered the usage of mortgage as an optional pretrial measure against him permissible.
Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to court.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
