Criminal Case on Causing Bodily Injury to Resident of Yerevan
Investigative and other procedural actions are conducted in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out circumstances of causing bodily injury to the resident of Yerevan.
On May 11, 2022 at 22:05 the mentioned resident with a diagnosis of “craniocerebral injury” was taken to the university hospital N 1 after “Heratsi”.
During preparation of materials forensic medical examination was commissioned the conclusion of which was received.
Considering that in the prepared materials there is a base to initiate a criminal case, in Erebuni Police Division a criminal case was initiated according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 which was sent to the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee and was received for production.
During preliminary investigation a number of circumstances of causing the man heavy bodily injuries threatening to life were found out.
Pursuant to initial data, the injured received the mentioned injuries on May 10, 2022 during the argument about personal matters. In the result of taken measures a citizen of the Russian Federation was apprehended on suspicion of committing publicly dangerous act, another RF citizen turned himself to Erebuni Police Division. They were questioned.
Considering the information and comments disseminated on the internet throughout the day, the investigative body informs that one of the mentioned two persons has been apprehended, the other has turned himself solely within the criminal case investigated according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code.
Preliminary investigation is underway. Necessary measures are taken to find out all circumstances, to provide the objective and comprehensive investigation of the case.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
